That Myall Lakes on the North Coast of N.S.W. could, and should, become one of the great National Parks, not just of Australia but of the world... Surely this means that the Governor-in-Council, who apparently has the authority to revoke all mining leases, will revoke them there, and thus assure us the variety of landscape features, the superb flora, the rich fauna, the aboriginal middens and the purity of water existing there.

A mined park can never be restored...
