The Barn

Dear Mervyn,

It is very kind of you to continue to send invitations to the meetings of the Landscape Association but I hope you will excuse me and understand when I tell you I am really no longer interested in landscape work and find it quite impossible to stir up any enthusiasm for anything but conservation of the natural scene. I have so many hundreds of negatives I'm still trying to get around to print that all possible time is spent in the dark room! It is so good to have such a record of all our country trips.
