The Barn

Dear Mervyn,

I has just occurred to me that if Daphne slipped off permanently to England or somewhere else before I took her portrait I would be so utterly disappointed. She must be in my book of famous people. I thought she looked so lovely last Saturday. I couldn't take my eyes off her!
